Course Description This on-demand CE course covers three therapeutic interventions that foster integration. These modalities bring resolution to the body somatically and emotionally, as clients are able to have closure for trauma and emotional suppression. Unlike conventional therapy, clinicians don’t help clients manage triggers, but instead heal the root traumatic material. Client outcomes include experiencing relief, acceptance, and clarity. Clinicians will learn techniques for how to employ interventions practically, as well as the theoretical orientation. This course empowers therapists and clients to work with the body, fostering self-attunement and self-attachment. Learning Objectives Upon completing this course, participants will be able to demonstrate the importance of closure for triggering experiences, how the body communicates somatically, and describe how different bodily regions hold distinct emotions. Participants will also be able to identify the three components of a Grief exercise. Target Audience This course is designed for mental health professionals who want to better understand the role of anger in mental health. It is intended for psychologists, therapists, social workers, clinical counselors, and addiction counselors. Instructional level: Intermediate 1 CE through NBCC or CAMFT
