Training Therapists in Integration Techniques
Integration exercises heal internal fissures by bringing past and present together in an experiential modality. It leads us to an imprinting memory, where a template was created that viewed something in a non-adaptive way, and allows us to correct this belief, re-orienting our present understanding. The imprinting memory is located somatically, as we allow ourselves to imagine a recent triggering event and focus on what we feel in our body.
Integration exercises help us attach to ourselves, repairing rifts fostered by dysfunctional core beliefs. They dislodge shame, which fuels dissociation and internal division. Because it is experiential, profound shifts happen immediately that go beyond insight, creating enduring change, and we move toward wholeness in a way never believed possible.
The Integration Exercise is a therapeutic modality that draws from psychodynamic, somatic, attachment and Inner child theory.
